Rules

Our community rules
Our rules must be followed by everyone to protect our servers, maintain a semi-civil community, and provide the best experience for all of our members.
These rules apply to all Wormwood DayZ servers, channels, and DMs

:one: Use common sense, practice good judgment, and respect others.
Lighthearted banter is acceptable, but toxic behavior has consequences. Respect fellow members and step away if a debate turns into an argument. Denigration, harassment, accusations, and vitriol will not be tolerated.
:two: Contribute to a safe and inclusive community.
Avoid posting age-restricted or offensive (NSFW) content. Do not misrepresent or impersonate server staff, spam, advertise, or attempt to bypass moderation filters. Respect any requests to cease certain behaviors. All discussions on our servers should only be in English.
:three: If you have a problem, create a ticket. Do not DM Staff
To create a ticket, use https://discord.com/channels/1254556285567762503/1257877369549488241, https://discord.com/channels/1254556285567762503/1386091656733786375, or https://discord.com/channels/1254556285567762503/1442337677100847240. Use https://discord.com/channels/1254556285567762503/1386463530508615852 or https://discord.com/channels/1254556285567762503/1254625744278130719 for normal questions. Chances are, someone in the community knows the answer to your question. Use the ticket system to notify staff of problems, don't air it out in public channels. If you see someone breaking the rules, tell the staff team and let them handle it. Whining and accusations of cheating or hacking will not be tolerated.
:four: Be mindful that Wormwood DayZ is a private, volunteer-run community.
Participating on our servers is a privilege. Server staff can issue warnings, mutes, kicks, or bans for unspecified rule violations, including unfair gameplay and toxicity. Using loopholes to violate the spirit of our rules is subject to enforcement. Wormwood DayZ is a private community that retains the right to make it's own decisions about who can and cannot play on our servers. Decisions made by staff members are final and binding. If you have an issue with that, find another server.

Wormwood DayZ's rules may be subject to updates or revisions from time to time. You are encouraged to check the rules regularly to refresh yourself and ensure you are always up-to-date; ignorance is not an excuse. If you have questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.

5. Players, groups, and factions cannot have or be registered to more than one (1) territory and one (1) flag at any given time.
- •Territory swapping regularly is not allowed.
6. Member swapping is allowed but restricted.
- •You cannot swap from one group to another on raid weekend.
- •You cannot log inside your old group's base if you swap.
- •You cannot rotate players within your group during active raid or PvP. Whoever starts the raid/PvP should finish it.
- •Some of these restrictions are automatically scripted with timers. If you leave a group and now have a timer, that's your fault. We will not help you or reset your timer — make your decisions wisely!
3.7 Insiding / Group Theft
Insiding is strictly prohibited.
By joining a group, you acknowledge that all items, vehicles, storage, base materials, and other property accessible to the group are considered shared group property, regardless of which member originally obtained, purchased, crafted, or placed them.
If you choose to leave, are removed from, or otherwise separate from a group, you may only leave with:
- •Items that are already on your character/person at the time you leave the group.
- •Items stored inside a personal storage container or vault that is individually code-locked and inaccessible to the rest of the group, provided that container was clearly being used as your personal storage prior to leaving.
You may not empty, transfer, destroy, hide, sell, despawn, or remove items from shared storage, vehicles, tents, crates, base storage, or any other group-accessible container before leaving.
You may also not give group property to another player, alternate account, allied group, or third party in an attempt to circumvent this rule.
Changing codes, removing locks, dismantling the base, sabotaging defenses, intentionally exposing the base, or otherwise harming the group/base before or after leaving will also be considered insiding.
Disputes regarding ownership will generally be treated as group property unless the item was stored inside a clearly established personal, individually locked storage container.
Staff Enforcement
Staff will investigate reports of insiding and take appropriate disciplinary action against the offending player, including a ban when warranted.
Staff will not determine, calculate, or investigate exactly what items were taken, destroyed, transferred, or lost as a result of an insiding incident. Our responsibility ends with determining whether the rule was violated and punishing the offending player.
**No items, currency, vehicles, base materials, or other property will be returned, replaced, or reimbursed by staff as a result of an insid

- •Raiding by standing on the side rail of a heli is allowed. This is a server with heli's you should build with that in mind.
6. Dismantling or damaging objects should only be done to gain entry or exit and never to grief. One wall is not considered griefing. Raids get messy sometimes.

Section 7: Support Ticket Rules
This section covers the rules and guidelines for creating a ticket.
1. You MUST fill out all fields when creating a ticket.
2. Read the rules before creating a ticket.
3. Just because your base was raided or softsided does NOT make it illegal. 99.9% of all reports of illegal softsides have been proven to be within the rules. Do NOT tie up the support system because you built something incorrectly.
4. Do NOT create tickets on behalf of someone else. It takes longer to support you supporting someone else than if that person made the ticket themselves. All players are required to be in Discord anyway.
5. If you are reporting someone, you MUST have evidence. Saying “I was killed by JimmyJohn outside safezone” means nothing. How do you know he was camping? Clips or screenshots are almost always required.
6. Don’t make a ticket because someone is being mean to you. We are adults. If someone is racist or crosses the line with toxicity, please DO make a ticket.
7. Be as DETAILED as possible when creating a ticket.
- •Example 1 (Correct): I was flying my M4D Clan Variant MH6 Little Bird coming from XYZ (coords & town) and going to XYZ (coords & town) when my game/server crashed and I can’t find my helicopter.
- •Example 1 (Incorrect): I was driving a helicopter and it vanished idk where it went please give it back.
- •Example 2 (Correct): Hi! During a gunfight at XYZ (Zelenogorsk), I felt the gameplay by the opposing team/member was suspicious. I attached a clip. At 0:46 JimmyJohn from ABC group prefires the doorway as I walk out. Here is the kill-feed timestamp. If he's cheating, I would like the items I lost returned. Items can be seen in the death logs, clip, and this list: LIST ITEMS.
- •Example 2 (Incorrect): Yoooo this JimmyJohn dude is mad sus bro ban him AND give me my items.
- •Example 3 (Correct): Hi! Can you delete the following objects I can’t dismantle at my base? Coordinates are XYZ. (Screenshots attached)
- •Example 3 (Incorrect): I need stuff deleted at my base.
8. Staff typically close tickets once resolved — sometimes when you’re offline. The Ticket Bot will DM you the transcript. If your DMs are off, add the bot as a friend.
9. Abusing the ticket system will result in a ban.
- •Don’t be petty in tickets. This is a video game — grow up.
- •Don’t try to use staff as a weapon against people you don’t like. See above.
Failure to follow these guidelines will result in your ticket being deleted with a link directing you back to this section.
